About the Executive Board
Alumni from a number of Canadian universities serve on our Executive Board. Several Board members joined at or near the beginning, including founding member Jean van der Tak (University of Toronto), founding member Don Weisfeld (University of Toronto), and Diana Locke (Mount Allison University). Recently, we've benefited from the expertise of Jane Battle and Linda Mint, both from the University of British Columbia, who bring professional planning experience to the group. Deepak Malhotra is the current chairman of the board.
Meetings
The Board meets in the fall with the the host university's event coordinator to discuss and plan the upcoming event. Shortly after the event, the Board conducts a wrap up and schedules meetings for the next event.
