2010 All-Canada University Association Event

Join other graduates of Canadian universities­ for the All-Canada University Association annual event. Held each spring in Washingt­o­n, DC, this dinner event brings together alumni and their guests for a­n exceptional evening of insight, conversation and friendship.

Date: Saturday, April 24, 2010 (6:00pm-9:00pm)

Venue: ­City Tavern Club, 3206 M Street NW, Washington, DC 20007­ (view map and directions or view parking options­)­ Dating back to 1796, the CTC counts founding fathers Washington, Jefferson and Adams as some of its earliest patrons.

Entertainment: Opera 101 led by acclaimed opera performer and UBC professor Nancy Hermiston. Part stimulating lecture, part lively performance, Opera 101 will give you insight into the training, performances, careers and lives of opera singers. (view the performers' bios)

Attire: Semi-formal/business casual. Please note that the club's dress code requires guests to wear a jacket and tie. Jeans, shorts, flip flops and athletic shoes are not permitted.

Cost: US$60/person (Canadian $62, register below through UBC's site) ­includes dinner and opera performance
